OCTOBER MEETING NOTES
We met at the Medina Methodist Church and had a very interesting program on Identity Theft by Jana Osborn. She gave us lots of information on practical things we can do to protect ourselves from identity theft.
The SHOW AND TELL time was filled with many members projects.

Evelyn brought her Swedish Weaving throw and two beautiful handkerchief blocks that made us want to search for all the vintage handkerchiefs we could find.
Lots of work has been done on the Pizza Box Charity Quilts by many members of the group. Lu brought the completed quilt that was donated to the Methodist Church to raffle for the Boy Scout Troup that they sponsor. It will be on display at the November Award Luncheon.
The sail boat quilt only needs one more round to be large enough to complete and was “adopted” by another member of the group to have that addition added.
Joyce had completed enough of the 9 square blocks and that box was passed on to be sewn together.
and the floral quilt top was adopted by Edie with donation to be determined based on the results of the raffle of the first completed quilt.
And Tammy brought one of her unique designed quilts.![]()
We had lots of discussion for the November luncheon with a change in location to the Medina Methodist Church.
