Tammy said she will bring samples, instructions and helpful hints and we don’t have to bring anything but ourselves and an inquiring quilters curiosity.

MAY MEETING NOTES

My apologies, there are no pictures. Neither Tammy not I could be there with cameras. Joyce did a program on “Yo-Yo”s and passed out the next two block of the month instruction sheets. She told me there was plenty of conversation, sharing of ideas and laughter.

Joyce will be on vacation for our next meeting but gave me two of the round robin boxes to pass on to the next quilters. I have worked on one and it was very interesting trying to plan a progression from what had already been done. I encourage you to pick up one of the boxes and add your own touch for these totally unique quilts.

I have a request for our next meeting that all of you who have been doing the block of the month bring what you have. I have figured out a design wall using flanel and magnets and hope to put them all up so we can look at variations in colors and how that affects the appearance of the block. I’m still having fun finding new stars all made from squares and rectangles.
