APRIL MEETING NOTES

There were no tornado warning sirens to disupt our fun.

 Lu’s sisters joined us and they had been working on really cute gift “bags” made from jeans.

The round robing quilts are progressing and have moved on the new members for additions.

And Lu and Tammy brought their Swedish weaving projects which they are planning for table decorations.

 Tammy has also invented a new quilted item–quilted charger plate covers to make your table setting even more unique.

   

Julie has continued work on her lap quilt project and has progressed to putting blocks together.

And we were able to have the program on the folded star block so that members could have one block at least pinned together to take home as a sample.

    

It was a busy and fun evening with time for sharing and learning. So pick up your sewing kit, bring a friend and come along for the May meeting.
