FAT QUARTER: PINK  We decided to continue the same fat quarter theme’s we had in 2007, but I will put a reminder in each newsletter.

JANUARY MEETING NOTES

We had a very busy meeting, discussing ideas for 2008 activities. Linda suggested that some of our meeting be a more casual, bring your own projects for a “Sit and Sew”. We thought it would be fun to have more time to really look at each other’s work and visit so every third meeting will be Linda’s SIT-N-SEW TIME.

Joyce had talked with Judy Rodriguez and she has agreed to teach Swedish Weaving at the Saturday workshop on March 29th. We will be at the library from 10am til… I will try to have a list of supplies at the February meeting so we can all be prepared.

Theresa brought several projects she has been working on for SHOW AND TELL.

 

Tammy had a new block to introduce her latest project.

Joyce had a new wall hanging for her Red Hat friends

And Debbie shared a very special pincushion as she told us she is moving away from Medina. She has been a very active member of our group, wants to stay on the e-mail list to follow our doings and we hope may come back to visit in the future. We wish her happy quilting in her new community.
